Dear Sir,

Enjoyed reading the inspiring piece, simple yet profound when linked to the journey of life. Actually, the “Guru Mantra” also draws from our scriptures, especially Srimad Bhawad Gita, whose teachings have influenced many of us and are eternal. In fact, I feel the motto of our Corps “Karam hi Dharam” also conveys the same sentiment in an abridged form. Its translation to my mind should be “Work is Supreme Duty” (and not “Work is Worship”). However, within our Corps, there have been flip flops on this and while in the appt of DG EME, I found it had been changed to “Work is Worship”, a few years earlier. I did not revert it in order to avoid further confusion.

To revert to your Blog, I was not aware that there is a CAB School in Meerut. When you were speaking to me, I mistook it for CAV which is an Inter College. But, thanks to your School, you were able to meet Dhyan Chand, a true legend. These days we have Olympic medalists like Sushil Kumar……….what a disgraceful fall……..Oh Dear, shed a tear.

Indeed a pleasure reading the article on the great legend Maj Dhayan Chand. The whole article is full of lessons, I really liked the statement, “Having passed the ball, your job ends……what matters is the goal is scored”. Very profound and so true for every sphere of life.
