Dear Surjit Sir
Gratitude is due for your kind email.
I have been considering the entire system known as Education with disbelief.
Everything we learnt as children at home appears to have evaporated in KALIYUG apparent on the street!
The post above is a narration of actual deterioration in the process of LEARNING!
It is the right time to take appropriate action and make coordinated efforts to set the system along the noble path that Education is supposed
to lead our children to.
There is so much to do in a hurry if the future generation is to serve our nation and NOT ruin it!
Let me try and collate my thoughts and get back to you if possible via ‘Guftagu’

The writer’s piece makes interesting reading, but nothing more. No suggestions have been made on how to improve the system. There is an unmistakable hint of absolving the Education Minister. Responsibility always lies with the head, even though he may not have personally committed any wrong.

Cheating in exams has always been present in free India. Answers were whispered by the bright students for not so bright friends.
Paper leaks have supplementd individual Cheating and converted it into a mass movement. It might cause anguish to the purists but so long as there’s a big market for it………?

Surjeet…such memories never fade.
Have you noticed that cheating is more prevalent in North than South !
May be it has lot to do that having left a warm home surroundings ;you had to compete to become someone. Ethics were lost enroute.

We have to improve our moral values as a Nation. We have very poor leadership to follow.

The social unrest has always been there in some form.In fact global happening. Youth in colleges, universities are just the right stage and mass to ignite any simmering issue especially of socio-politico-economic nature. In today’s tech driven world when major work load is borne by machines, the much of the young population has much free time to indulge in agitations to vent out their ‘Akrosh’. Once a while things may go the otherway. However, system/govt must assure its citizens that there is fairness/credibility in all its working. It also demands an ethical and moralistic behaviour from its citizens. jai hind
