ONE TOO MANY

Spiritual gurus have preached temperance in all worldly affairs. It is well known that excess of everything is evil. It creates problems. We have seen what happens to our friends when they take ‘one too many’ in the bar.

What is worrying me is the fate of an extremely balanced person, Nazar Singh, who is known to have maintained excellent health through controlled eating and drinking. He had never needed much medication, and of course he did not undergo any surgery. Suddenly he died, last week. The doctors refused to conduct a post mortem to determine the cause of death. On the death-certificate, the civil surgeon has written, “Nazar Singh died due to too many birthdays!”. The 111th birthday which he celebrated last month was ‘one too many’!”

In view of the grim danger exposed by this sordid incident, I have decided that henceforth, I will commemorate a birthday only during the leap years.

Fauja Singh is just like other runners, except for his ‘excessive birthdays’!

Each & every individual when born is travelling in the train of time. His destination is not known & cannot be accurately predicted even by the best of astrologers as to when he will get of the train. Once in the train of time one needs good nutrition which may be as suggested by dietitians, physical activities as an essential diet to digest nutrition as may have been suggested by dietitians to enhance good health of the complete PANCH TATWA body and also conforming to the saying ” SOUND MIND IN A SOUND BODY”. Once the mind is in sound state of health. it would be in a position to harness mental exercise to also essential as diet to take sound decisions, do good to others, selfless service, etc. etc.and help to to move towards meditation RAJ YOG to connect to the Supreme Soul. The person in good health & on a long journey in the train of time , I feel has blessings of supreme soul. May Supreme Soul bless all & sundry. ,
